Latest Flick with Kevin Hart Showcases the Breathtaking Scenery of Northern Ireland
The much-awaited movie “Elevate,” starring the American comedian Kevin Hart, has made its debut on Netflix. The film, predominantly filmed in Northern Ireland, displays the magnificent landscapes and vibrant cultural legacy of the area.
While in Northern Ireland, Kevin Hart stayed at the Culloden Hotel just on the outskirts of Belfast for a few months. He pleasantly amazed audiences with impromptu shows at places like the Limelight and Lavery’s, bringing an exciting touch to his time in the city.
“Elevate” marks the second Netflix production shot in Northern Ireland, following the triumph of “The School for Good and Evil” in 2021. The film was filmed in Harbour Studios and various spots throughout Northern Ireland, with assistance from Northern Ireland Screen, displaying the varied and charming settings of the region.

Under the direction of F Gary Gray, “Elevate” explores an international group of thieves, led by Kevin Hart’s character Cyrus Whitaker, as they endeavor to snatch $500 million (£393 million) in gold from a commercial plane before it falls into the wrong hands.
Richard Williams, the Chief Executive of Northern Ireland Screen, hailed the partnership between local and global talents, mentioning, “The commitment and artistic talent of the local crew perfectly complemented the efforts of the international figures Kevin Hart and F Gary Gray in completing this much-awaited film.”
The government in the UK has underscored the substantial economic impact of film productions in Northern Ireland, with direct contributions surpassing £330 million to the local economy since 2018.
